A well-crafted selection of fine herbs from the Swiss Alps give this Kombucha its unique flavor. Lemon juice is added to the herb infusion to help extract the full spectrum of aromas from the loose leafs and also adds a healthy dosage of vitamin C to our Kombucha.
Swiss Mountain Herbs
In the sunny Grison mountains, in fresh air, bloom the wholesome herbs that we use for our Kombucha. For a lively flavor we use a selection of apple mint, melissa, spearmint and marjoram. The herbs are complemented by the addition of pear and lemon juice. All ingredients are certified organic.
The lemon juice gives the soft herb flavors a invigorating foundation. The juice also helps to improve the extraction of the flavors and nutrients from the whole leaf herbs. In addition it also adds a healthy dosage of vitamin c to our Kombucha.
Darjeeling Green Tea
Carefully selected green tea from the famous tea estates of Darjeeling imported by Teekampagne builds the foundation of our Kombucha. Darjeeling is a magical place embedded between Bhutan and Nepal in the Lesser Himalaya at an altitude of over 2000 m. The high altitude and the long tradition of tea plantations produce the high-quality tea known as Champagne among teas. We use it as the foundation for our Kombucha.
We use a proprietary blend of organic sugars to feed our Kombucha culture during the fermentation process. The probiotic culture processes this sugar during the fermentation and creates healthy acids and enzymes out of it.
